Trying to keep this card very CAS - for me that is.
I masked off the panel with painters tape. Must remember to find some soft speciality stencil tape. The painters tape tended to lift a little - and had to be remove very slowly to avoid disaster. Never had this problem before - but then again I have always used it on water colour paper with no problems. Sponged the three colours of Distress Oxide inks. Sprayed the stencil with misted water and placed it down on the card. Lifted it off and used kitchen paper to blot up any remaining water. Sponged the stencil in the darkest colour in the corners and then stamped the bunnies and sentiment. Framed the scene with black and layered up onto a card.
Hope you enjoy.

Helen I've just been unpacking a parcel from Qld...all Lavinia items I ordered...mainly scenescapes but they sent me lots of free goodies. I also received this stamp and have just put it in my stash. Your card is gorgeous and fav’d. TFS. Happy day and keep safe and well over East

Your stencilling and sponging look superb Helen! I think you are an expert at this sort of background. :-) Those bunnies have so much character; I can hear them discussing their plans for the day! (we're in perpetual lockdown so no plans here!)

Oh my goodness, this background is fantastic! I would have made a big fat mess if I had tried your technique! I also love, love those great bunny silhouettes. Wonderful card!

Beautiful card! I recently bought those bunnies so your card is great inspiration for me. Love the stencilling and the way you have it go above and below the coloured panel.

Beautiful. Love the stenciling and sponging and those bunnies are great. Tape--UGH! I have had that problem with the purple tape too. But your card looks unaffected so good job on the tape pulling!
