 | | Our TeaParty cards this week are going to a fellow TeaPotter, Vickie Y. Polly (peeps321), our hostess has asked us to think pink, flowers, Asian, butterflies, and gnomes...how could you not be cheered by pink, flowers and lovely women?
The Sketch Challenge 848 was fresh and played perfectly into my idea. Thank you Cathy!
I knew immediately I'd use 'Fuji Goddess' by Stampington & Co. She's so serene and beautiful. I stamped her with VersaFine 'Onyx Black' on Mixed Media paper. I clear embossed just the flower buds in her hair and colored with three shades of Copics.
The rice paper panel is an ancient Art Supply store speciality paper. I confess to hoarding this lovely paper. For the third horizontal panel, I decided to use Stamp Francisco's Hanging Lanterns. I used multiple embossing powers, Copic Markers and Gelatos to add dimension. Finished by weaving a gold braid through the lanterns.
