You might be able to do just about anything with LeAnn's colors this week: White, Black, Basic Gray with your favorite color for dessert.
I colored this flower from the edge of a piece of Black and White True Love DSP a few months ago and then lost track of it for a few months until we were packing to head up to the lake last week. I remembered it being brighter green but I still like how the these green blooms work. I'd say my favorite color lately is Granny Apple Green but I also like to tone it down with Soft Sea Foam. For these blooms I started with Soft Sea Foam and then added all the shading with Granny Apple. I hope that isn't cheating. I think it is close to a look I would get by watercoloring with just Granny Apple Green.
I used the dark Smoky Slate along with Granny for the diamond pattern in the DSP along the edge. Taking a chance on overdoing the diamonds, I added the textured white background before putting it all together, along with the Many Messages "congratulations" greeting.
I could use these colors all month long. I so hope you can play along with us!

I agree, Chris, these colors have almost unlimited potential. I adore what you did, and you did NOT overdo the diamond theme you have going on here. The flowers are beautiful in shades of Granny Apple Green, too! Lovely!

Great minds think alike... tee hee! I love the 'True Love' DSP, I hate to see it go! You did an outstanding job of coloring both the flowers and the diamonds! The diamond in the embossed background go beautifully with the diamonds in the paper! Super idea again!

Beautiful, Chris! Lovely texture and patterns and I'm so happy to see you have used green to color your blooms! I've been tempted to try this, but haven't as of yet. You have given me a little push to do so~

Stunning! I love everything about your card, Chris. All of the elements work perfectly together. I think I love the flowers the best. The coloring on them is beautiful.
