I stamped and heat embossed the iris in white, then watercoloured both iris and background, and then splattered some blue ink. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cs and die cut a window in it. I popped the window up over the iris image and added it all to a white card base.

This just flew straight into my favorites! I love that beautifully water colored iris and the lovely colors you chose. Placing it in the window takes this over the top - outstanding!

Beautiful Iris! I have lots of them in my yard, but most probably won't bloom this year. I let them lay dormant for about a year while we built our house so I don't expect them to bloom this year. I do have one bunch blooming though, white and purple ones.
