I just got this sweet stamp and have been looking for a reason to use it! I Googled Pussywillows (scientific name Salix discolor) and learned that they are actually flowers before they fully bloom. The soft silvery coat protects these early bloomers from the cold. I used silver gel pen to color the blooms.

Such a precious image ~ I've not seen this one before and I do love the HM images. My grandma had a pussywillow bush in her yard and we always picked a few branches each spring; your card brought back sweet memories : )

I LUV THIS! When I was a kid my friends and I would pick a bunch of these for our moms - they grew prolifically at the edge of the woods behind the large field next to our house. Memories..... this is so cute and so perfectly CAs!
