This week's Teaparty is to look at life on the browner side of life. I have so much to be grateful for with a wonderful family and fabulous friends. Something that is common to both is the sharing of a cup of coffee so I went with this. It is also that time of month where we get to 'tickle' each other.
I stamped and coloured the Bristyl girl, fussy cut and raised her on the bg, using dimensionals. For the bg I used the smoosh and squirt technique. Once dry, I used my scorpal to create a border. After agonising what else to add, I decided in the end to keep it simple and just add the tiny pearls.
TFL!

great job on your fussy cutting. Great coloring and the background is neat---great card--like your image--she is so casual, and who does not like a cup of coffee.

Sue, your sponging is truly beautiful and the coloring on your girl looks so real! Love the scoring. I rarely think to do that and it is a great touch.
Wonderful card!

Absolutely gorgeous background, Sue, and the simple scoring is all it needs - and those super pearls. Sitting here enjoying my morning coffee right now. And envious of your weather! Oh my, it's turned back to winter here just now.

Those colors are just dreamy....a fav combo of mine. The scoring is perfect! I wish I could share a cup of coffee (or tea for me) with you..how fun that would be.

Gorgeous background for your beautifully colored girl. Those colors are so striking together! I like the addition of scoring to the background - lovely way of framing!

This is a fantastic card, Sue! I love how you let the colors 'speak', and kept your card simple (I chuckled at 'agonizing what else to add', I can relate to that plenty of times, LOL). That bg is really beautiful and your colored image goes so well with it - oh, it should be the other way around - sorry, I haven't had my tea yet and my brain is not in gear . Love the sentiment - I really like this week's challenge and reading everyone's take on it!
