This week's Teaparty is to look at life on the browner side of life. I have so much to be grateful for with a wonderful family and fabulous friends. Something that is common to both is the sharing of a cup of coffee so I went with this. It is also that time of month where we get to 'tickle' each other.
I stamped and coloured the Bristyl girl, fussy cut and raised her on the bg, using dimensionals. For the bg I used the smoosh and squirt technique. Once dry, I used my scorpal to create a border. After agonising what else to add, I decided in the end to keep it simple and just add the tiny pearls.

What a striking background for your lovely young women! Make me want to go grab some art supplies, throw caution to the wind and create a background such as this! As others have said, the scoring is such an effective way to lead the eye. I especially love the contrast with the pearls and their color hues of the bg. Be well and enjoy that liquid nectar!

A great sentiment, beautifully depicted! I love how the colors of her clothes are reflected in the BG! If this pandemic has taught us anything, it's that the simple joys of life are not to be taken for granted!

It would be a wonderful day when we could all get together for a proper teaparty. What special memories that would create. I love your bright colourful background colours.

Beautiful bg - I need to look up this smoosh and squirt technique . . The coloring on your Brystl girl is phenomenal - I especially like the way you managed to give the jeans an over dyed look complete with fade spots.

This is just perfect! The BG is gorgeous and the coloring of the image is as well. You did a great job with the border scoring and I think adding the little pearls was all that was needed. Let that beautiful BG shine!
