For this art journal page, I did a soft inked background using a mix of Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink. Start by inking the background. Place the stencil over the background and apply Distress Ink with an ink-blending tool, use two or three shades. Move the stencil and repeat until the background is cover.
Repeat, but this time with Distress Oxide ink and using an ink blending brush instead. Mist very lightly with water. Stamp coordinating circles here and there.
Die cut the flowers, ink then and emboss with clear embossing powder. Do the same with the sentiment, embossing only the word.
