Stitched Circle Card

More details on my blog:
Layers of ink

I used to stitch with embroidery floss a lot on my cards in the past, but have done less so lately, which made it extra fun to make this card. Ink the background paper with Distress Ink, mist with water. Stamp the script background. Die cut the stitched circle and stitch with two different colors DMC floss. Die cut a whole in the center and stamp a circle and a heart on the background paper, so that you see them through the hole. Distress all the edges and stitch to the background.

Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
Anna-Karin

I haven't stitched on cards in years, this brought back lots of ideas. Your design and color choices are perfect!

Thank you!! I used to stitch with DMC floss on my cards so often in the past. I still have a big stash of floss. It really adds a nice feel to the cards.
