Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she certainly did challenge me! Our colors are Old Olive, Pacific Point and Pool Party. The dessert is "anything spring." OK, at least I can check off that box!
I decided to try to use my Distress Oxide sprays to create my own colored cardstock, and chose colors that I thought would give me the challenge colors. I came close with the green, not so much with the blues. I tried to combine two shades of blue, but the die-cut flowers are so small, the variations in color really don't show up.
I was intrigued by all the parts in this die set, but didn't realize how many passes through the machine would be required for all the pieces. Good thing I started early today on this card! LOL!
I hope you can join us in this week's Color Challenge; I'm eager to see all the different ideas in the gallery!

Beautiful card Barbara! It's very delicate and feminine. Good to know that this die requires many passes through the die cutter. I have this one but haven't used it yet. I'll make sure I have plenty of time time when I do.

Oh my goodness, Barbara, I just posted a comment on Mary's design that her card reminded me that Spring had Sprung and low and behold your card states the same thing! Wow I call that mental telepathy! haha! Anyway, your card is BEAUTIFUL and also is a great example that Spring has Sprung!
I had to chuckle at your comment regarding the stage props I use in my posts. I love junk shopping but they are forbidden to go any further than my craft room door! Lol! I find it fun receiving inspiration in my odd little treasures! Thanks for sharing your awesome creation!
