For Lydia's MIX challenge, fat over lean (in this case, pigment ink over dye). I reverse masked my card, sponged three blues in a slight ombre effect with distress inks, then stencilled in the rest with DOX inks. Spattered with gold, stippled with white paint through some drywall mesh, and added the sentiment. Removed the mask, and that's another birthday card. I don't think I have ever sent as many actual birthday cards with birthday sentiments before, this year I seem to be doing pretty well on adding them to my stash.

Love this card. That rose stencil is beautiful and your color choices really highlight them. Love, love, love the white through the mesh. Great textures. Wonderful card. Love that you are using your birthday greeting dies and stamps more. It's fun to see what direction our cards will go each year and it's great that it's usually somewhere/thing new or different.
