This scene may be leaning more towards a summer evening but where I live there are bugs around for most of the year, more in Spring and Summer.
I stamped my scene and then coloured with my Copics and Zigs, adding liquid pearls in the flowers and finally stickles...my go to product. I find it just gives a beautiful finish to cards.
The tag was stamped and fussy cut and bling added.
The patterned paper is gorgeous and such a shame that I covered it up as it has beautiful lilac, blue and pink flowers on it.
Spring is one of my favourite times of the year. Perfect weather here and when I was growing up in the UK I used to love watching the daffodils, crocus and bluebells appear in the gardens.
TFL. Happy day

Somehow, I don't think I would mind the bugs, especially compared to the ice and snow we've had. Cute insects and flowers....definitely a spring time card, Jayne~

Love this sweet Spring card- the fireflies in the jar are my favorite- and remind me of my childhood- footloose and carefree catching them and putting them in jars! Also, love the dragonflies and pretty flowers!

I love this card. Love the yellow and blue-so cheerful looking. I don't like bugs, but they go with summer so I will take them. Thanks, for sharing your sweet card.

I've already told you how much I love your jar of fireflies. The dragonflies are fab too, very realistic. Loving the sparkle you added to them, and the pearl dots on the sunflowers.
The crocuses, snowdrops early daffs and scilla are out here; we took a walk in the nearby "big house" last Sunday and it was lovely to see them. My last job in the UK was in Yorkshire, I was there from Feb to May, just in time to enjoy all the Spring flowers when I walked the dog in the grounds.

What a wonderful buggy creation, Jayne. Brings back fond memories of catching lightning bugs with my sisters and putting them in a jar with holes in the lid when we were kids.
