I had recently purchased the We Are Memory Keepers Foil Quil tool for my Brother ScanNCut, so wanted to try it out. I had also purchased the So Fontsy "Stitched Nested Shapes" cutting file which included tags.
I used Brother's Canvas Workspace to size the tag and add the Christmas sentiment I wanted to foil. Then had the machine cut out the tag and hole.
To the tag I added a poinsettia flower that was created by stamping the smallest poinsettia leaf from Stampin' Up! (SU) "Poinsettia Petals" stamp set onto a rose red cardstock. I chose this color because I thought the same color cardstock as the tag would be too overwhelming and not allow the flower to show up as well. Each of the 3 petals I stamped were hand crimped to give more dimension, before they were attached together with a glue dot. The center was die cut from gold foil cardstock and also attached with a glue dot.
The card base is SU Real Red cardstock, and the green panel is from the SU "Under the Mistletoe" designer series paper (DSP).
I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "3" out of a possible "5" due to the gold foiling. If you used gold embossing powder and Versamark ink it would only be rated a "2" difficulty level.
