Hello everyone. OMGOODNESS....Its been a long time. I hope everyone is doing well. With all the craziness going on in the world today...being creative has been difficult BUT....Iâm getting back into the swing of things.
With this card I started by stamping the faithful letter in versa Mark then added the copper penny embossing power on it to match the beautiful colors that were chosen for todays challenge. I proceeded by stamping this beautiful moth stamp over the letter and then clear embossed it to adhere the ink to the first embossing. I pulled out my markers and paint brush to create a water color vintage feel for this card. I know that the colors arenât vibrant...diluting them made a very soft vintage vibe so I went with. I painted all the moths with the pear pizzazz first, then I added the flirty flamingo and mango melody down to blend it together. After I was done painting and let it dry , I covered each moth with the Nuvo crystal glaze. I die cut three thank you pieces and glued them together for some dimension. I added the crystal glaze on the top of the thank you as well. While the glaze was drying I distressed the edges with the ground expresso ink. I added the enamel dots and layered the panel on black, soft suede and whisper white. That my friends is the end of the project. I hope you all are enjoying your day and I look forward to see all your beautiful creations<3

Your shiny butterflies are so pretty, Kari. This may be vintage, but I like the added feminine ruffled border....it brightens this up a bit. Beautiful card~

super very vintage - va va voom! I LOVE iT! i love vintage, been trying to get more time for vintage junk journaling lately. INSPIRED BY THIS, for sure : ) my mojo is flickering, difficult times to get going, I agree. thanks for the kind comment on my Gal Edna chocolate box card. appreciate it, Take good care, Teresa
This is different, but simply awesome, take on the colors this week. I love how the challenge colors blend so beautifully on the butterflies, and that script background is to die for! This must be even prettier IRL, with all the shiny elements!
