This is not the first stamp I ever purchased but it is definitely the first stamp SET I ever purchased. I bought this along with Loads of Love. I had never purchased a whole set of stamps before. Probably because I was just starting to get into card making.
This chef is still one of my favorite images. So when I saw this challenge I just KNEW - it had to be him.
Add to that, my husband and I still are still self isolating until it's our turn for the vaccine, so I knew if I wanted a Valentine's Day card I needed to make it myself. (There are some things you just can't buy from Amazon. LOL!) And, I made my own birthday card from my family last year, so why not?
I had a lot of fun with Chef Pierre (my name for this guy) and I'm happy I got to take him out again!

I think aot of people call him Pierre! I tend to think of him as Marco because, despite my French roots, my restaurant scenes are usually Italian in my mind. I made my Christmas card from DH last year - just another sign of the times!.
Anyway, fab card. I love it. The scalloped edge and gingham are just great.
