Our challenge colors today are brought to us by Jeanne and she chose BERMUDA BAY, BUMBLE BEE and BLUEBERRY BUSHEL. Dessert is to use a 4th color, but it must begin with the letter B. What a fun idea. I added Balmy Blue for dessert. Thanks, Jeanne - these colors are perfect for one of my favorite subjects - nautical.
I die cut a blueberry strip and a white strip, then cut the strips into 8 pieces each, and glued alternating them to create the left margin. Cut a Bumble Bee strip and glued along side of the striped border. Die cut and glued the sentiment. Die cut and assembled the owl (16 pieces) then glued him on top of the sentiment. His white hat faded into the white background, so I used a gray pencil to outline the hat and anchor.

Whooo is the cutest sailor on Splitcoast? Why it’s this little guy, of course! He is just adorable, all 16 pieces of him! I also love the clever striped strip down the side of the card. What a clever idea! I can’t wait to try it. What a fun card!
