Jen and I starting posting cards on SCS the same year: 2005. I knew her as GuarinoMom and she knew me as jen70. So I thought it would be fun to start browsing her gallery from the beginning and take a trip down memory lane. I chose to case this beautiful Roses in Winter card: Plum Roses by Jen Guarino at Splitcoaststampers
Did you know... The Featured Stamper challenge was actually started in the retired Limited Supplies Challenge? I came up with the idea to case cards using similar supplies. After all, we can't own every stamp set and embellishments out there, right?
For my card, I made these changes:
* Same flower set but a sentiment from a new SU set
* Newer shades of the same color
* DSP instead of background stamps
* I kept the organdy ribbon but left off the hardware.
* I used the old Itty Bitty Backgrounds set instead of spritzing the background.
* I popped us the main panel on dimensionals.

Beautiful card, Jen. Love the colors and the stamped background. It was fun reading your post and remembering the Limited Supplies challenge. It was a treat also looking at all the people who had commented on the card you cased. I remembered most of them.

Oh Jen! One of my challenge chaser pals. Weren't those the days! I absolutely love that you still have this stamp set (I kind of wish I did too) and your card is just gorgeous. Thanks for recreating one of my favorite cards ever and for being such a HUGE part of SCS.
