Our featured stamper this week is Jen Guarino and she has a wonderful gallery. Went looking for something to case and found this awesome forest scene (my kind of card). Night Forest by Jen Guarino at Splitcoaststampers
I made a night scene using trees and a moon as Jen did. I made a full moon instead of half moon and I add a deer. I also added snowbanks. Added stars.
I masked for the moon with Frog tape and cardstock cut with a circle punch (pulling the tape away from cardstock after punched), sponged a sky, stamped the large trees with Fern Green ink, removed mask, than added snowbanks with a handmade snow template and blending brush. Next I stamped the smaller trees in the background. Added the deer die cut.
Jen, have a blast this week as Featured Stamper. Great gallery you have!

Brenda, this is stunning! Such a gorgeous snowy scene. Love your trees, snow, deer and happy snow banks (I totally love how you do them). GREAT case and card. Makes me want to go make another one. Hugz

Brenda, this is a spectacular winter night scene. Every detail is perfect and I especially love how the bold evergreen trees look against your soft snowy background. Beautiful!
