I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
There are 195 countries in the world so in the first two years of this series I've "visited 100 countries, which means I still have quite a few to go.
This card is inspired by Vatican City, the smallest country in the world. There are no hospitals in Vatican City which means practically no one is born there. Citizenship is based on employment in the country, not birth into it.
Please visit my blog for more photos/information about both Vatican City and my card...
