I was so delighted to have some time in my craft room after many weeks. My hubby is finally back on his feet and without the awful pain.
I made the background first with mini ink pads direct to the gelli plate, then brayered and print lifted. Then dry embossed with Tim Holtz #D Texture Fades Folder. I picked out a friend themed paper doll image and used Distress embossing glazes to color their dresses. I used Speckled egg, Tattered Rose and Fired Brick and Cracked Pistachio. I made the wings by embossing with a sparly embossing powder with wings cut from a oxide ink scrap. the garland at top is made by cutting apart some ephemera from Field Notes. Now I am a joyful girl again getting very messy....ha ha

Wonderful rich texture and soft hues created in your background to host all that lovely ephemera. Happy to hear you back and in your craft room and your DH on on the mend!
