My inspiration comes from Mary's garden and her unique sculpture.so I chose a unique bird .. My background was sponged, word stamped, and then stensciled with green bough and purple flowers. My recycled was the twine which is strings from burlap and a pretty envelope for life insurance that I save because I was going to use it on a card anyway. I used that for the flower and the purple branches and leaves. Crazy bird is popped up on thicker than usual dimensions.... great challenge... thanks a bunch!

My burlap is quite coarse and always unravels into fibres and I always think I should use those, well done you. I really like the stencilling over the script, and the combination of stencilled and die-cut leaves. And it's always fun to see a crazy bird in the gallery.

This particular crazy bird has the look of some of Mary's elongated statuary and that bg looks awesome with it's combination of mediums. Good use of your recyclables, too.

That background is so fun. Love the recycled envelope -- I find I'm often grabbing junk mail envelopes and stowing them away to use as a bg or die cut.
