Today's TLC is 'floating elements.' I watched the video but found my card to be frustrating. I had a very difficult time die cutting the opening & ended up using scissors for some areas, but I like how it turned out. This will also go in my thank you stash!
Thanks for stopping by.

I really like how stylish and crisp this looks, Karen! Red, white and blue....you can never go wrong with these colors. Perfect placement of your sentiment and those hearts on the outside of the circle are Adorable~

I feel your frustration - I know from experience that I have a hard time getting a good die cut from acetate sheets. Even when I run them through the big shot 3 or 4 times . . . Luckily for you, the lines on your flower were less "wavy" than what I used today. I love how this turned out and especially all those tiny hearts gracing your floating circle.

I too feel your frustration. I had read Stacy's comment about how she thought she'd try to find thinner acetate, so I used the thinnest I had. But I still had to use a shim to get it to cut through. At least I discovered this on the circle, which I did first, so my inner die went more easily. Your daisy die is lovely, and the little stamped hearts are sweet.
