I am inspired by all of the Tim Holts style. This example comes close with a floral BG and a girl as the focal point. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/240661173825499988/ by yayascrapand more blogspot.
This is another card using one of several vintage stamp images recently gifted to me by Shelly aka mcschmidty for participating in the last VSN. Stamped and fussy cut her from a mailing label. The BG is a large 4x6 thermal label, that I embossed with a TH 3D EF. I then applied some red metallic luster paste with my fingers. What a lovely sheen IRL. I placed the label between parchment and using a medium iron, very lightly added some heat and that brought out the gray tones. (I was recently published in the last Holiday issue of Rubberstampmadness for this technique) Added all the embellishments, and a double scalloped border, also by TH. Mounted on a lightly textured parchment CS. Added a little extra color here and there with Distress Markers. This will be my valentine to my Cutie Patootie, 2 year old granddaughter

aren't we all wonky? Cheshire grin! This is a perfect TH take. And even with your originality, my neighbor! Congratulations on YET another feature in the RSM magazine. I love all the elements you brought to the card...especially that bg and the lace (remembering you gifted me some...)
hugs and smiles...so close

Beautiful! and very much connected to the Inspiration link you posted. I love it all, especially the added trim edge to the right for a perfect detail! I agree, I am always inspired by Tim's designs however, i rarely purchase as I think it will be too 'young' for my typical recipients.
really nice job and a lovely 'gift' to whomever receives it.
take good care, Teresa
