I probably got this die about 5 years ago, thinking that it would make for some quick CAS birthday cards. After several attempts to use it, I finally made this card with it. Okay, but not one of my faves, that's for sure.
Fast forward to now. Pulled out the die and was all ready to put on the "purge" pile, but decided to give it another whirl before I did that. Well, it is still going on the purge pile, but I was able to come up with a few cards I liked using it before it goes bye bye.
I had tried cutting it from several colors of shimmer card stock, and none excited me. Then, on a whim, I started playing with combining a couple of colors for the inlay to give it a somewhat stained glass kind of look. Outside my normal style, but I ended up with something I liked, particularly as one of those elusive "guy cards" we all seem to struggle with.
For my CAS620 CASE, I stepped it up, while keeping it CAS:
- Multi-colored inlay
- Stitched detail around the edge of my window
- Mat between the focal and the window edge
I'm also submitting this for the Seize the Birthday Challenge (just the Anything Goes - no dessert for me this week)

Oh wow, I love how this turned out! I may have to try this with a couple of dies I have. Great colours - it does make for an ideal masculine birthday card. Thanks for linking up with us at Seize the Birthday!
