This is a much more involved version of the previously posted leaf card. Our son loves to walk around exploring his college town while talking to us on the phone on Sundays, so I chose the words to suit him.
The leaf stamp is an old one on a wood block, so I inked it up with various distress inks, misted with water, and then stamped twice before cleaning it up and doing it again. Then I added the light bkgd stamping in the empty spaces, and cut into three sections.
I love the look of the wood slices, but I was sooo disappointed when I got them due to the excessive thickness. I can only use them on hand delivered cards because they are about a 1/4" thick which practically turns a card into a package!
