I'm the TLC hostess on this first Monday of 2021 - and you can find my challenge HERE.
I ended up making two samples, because I showed DH this one and asked was there too much on it and he said yes - but I wanted to use it all . That seahorse is a green iceberg! Apparently about 10% of icebergs are green. It used to be thought that it was high levels of dissolved organic matter, but more recent research suggest that they might have a high iron content.
I embossed the background with a branch ef to mimic seaweed. Sentiment stamped and embossed with gold, and I added a few sequins to finish it off.

What a gorgeous card Sabrina. I love the textured seaweed BG and the seahorse is gorgeous. TFS. Happy day.

I don't agree with your DH, I think life is busy down in the water, there are no traffic lights...so this card is perfect, made me think about a film we've seen lately were divers film under water, just beautiful!!

Terrific challenge. DH was definitely wrong. I remember doing this technique way back when Technique Junkies was a magazine (I'm still a DT member with them). I used my results as a background, but you opened my eyes and showed me that it doesn't have to be a background. I much prefer how you used it. This card is stunning.

Love this! The sea creatures are like cloisonné--if this is the busier one, I like it!

Another vote for not too much...It's a great underwater scene and I love that ef background. Really anchors the whole card. I agree with Anita, the traffic under the sea can be very busy especially on a reef. Thanks for the info on icebergs. I didn't know that and I love learning new stuff about nature.

Too much?? Oh I think not. The ocean is a very busy place. Love that seahorse.
