 | | For Anita's Faux Heat EmbossingTLC challenge.
This is something I have been doing for some years, and while I don't do it often, I do it often enough to keep my roll of clear packing tape beside the Big Shot.
This used a not very successful Ghosting/Versamark resist background from Jayne's debut WTUI challenge. Medallion is visible, but faint. So I embossed the piece with a snowflake border ef and swiped over it with white ink and edged it with Stickles. The sentiment uses the TLC challenge technique. Since I mailed this to Australia I can't remember exactly but I think I pieced the Inktense-coloured birds and holly onto the base layer which was coloured with a Sharpie. (I did know that this challenge was upcoming when I made the card ;-), Anita is very organised and forward-planning). To match the sentiment, I swiped the main die-cut with Versamark and embossed with clear EP. |
