 | | I LOVE the contrast of the bright poppies and dark patterned paper. And would you ever guess that the paper is from a Halloween pack? I had just scraps left and challenged myself to use them up.
How I colored the poppies: They are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then each petal is outlined with a Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Marker, colored in with the Light version, then some touches of the Dark were added. The same process was used for the flower centers, but with the Smoky Slate set.
The entire card is sprayed with a mix of Champagne Shimmer Mist Paint and 70% rubbing alcohol.
