For Kath, this week's featured stamper. Your gallery is gorgeous with lots to inspire and Kath gives all the details which is wonderful. I chose this one: Peace On Earth by kathinwesthill at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the gray and white theme but added some gold. Used stars instead of snowflakes, A2 size instead of sq., diff. peace die. First I diecut in thick W.W., then diecut some silver TH deco sheets so I could adhere it to the roofs and trees. (It is self adhesive). I cut some gold foil to put behind the windows. I used the gold deco sheets to do the stars by putting it on layering white c.s. and then punching the stars out. I first tried some silver ink around the edges but didn't like the look so I ran the 2 way glue pen around and poured on the chunky glitter and put copy paper over it to hand press it to make sure it stuck. I used the blunt end of a toothpick and dipped it in the bleedproof ink and dotted my snow on.
I originally did silver stars but they did not show up well enough on the dp., so this morning I got the idea to use the champagne stars instead. Thanks Kath for posting your creations. I hope you have a wonderful week!

This winter scene die cut and the added glitter accents, excellent. Never seen chunk silver glitter and it looks great. Love the "toothpick" snowflakes...creative.

What a lovely village scene, Shirl! Love your little church with the cross on top! It's so much fun reading all about your design process and your techniques. Love your toothpick idea for adding your snow and the lovely texture of the chunky glitter around the boarder.

Ohhhhh, Shirl... this is superb. Serene, beautiful, and warm-hearted. I adore it!
Thank you for your kind comments about the card I made for my husband on our anniversary! Yes, the making the card itself is what stresses me out - I want him to feel how special he is when he sees it! Of all the people I make cards for, he's the most important. He's always very kind with his comments about them, but I want to be sure he's not having to stretch the truth! LOL
Happy (belated) Anniversary to you and your husband as well!

This is a lovely village scene! Your attention to detail makes for a gorgeous card. I really like that chunky glitter around the edges. Works as a wonderful frame. We got a significant snowfall last night, Christmas Eve. While I don't live in a village it did add some beautiful effects to the Christmas lights. Reminds me of your card!
