This is one of 50 hand-stitched cards I created in a period of 18 months, 44 of these I gave to my Mom as a special gift. I had been searching for several years to find a way of incorporating cross-stitch or hand-stitching onto my cards, but I wasn't satisfied until I watched a Jennifer McGuire YouTube where she introduced hand-stitching on cardstock via the use of a specialized die. My Mom is a very talented cross-stitcher, and I was THRILLED to finally find a way to incorporate stitching onto my cards in a way that would look realistic.
All of the patterns unless stated otherwise are my own, I did copy 2 designs, but this is not one.
I haven't been able to create cards lately, but I look forward to doing more stitching onto cardstock soon. I find it to be very relaxing. I have some ideas and I look forward to trying them out.
Thanks you so much for taking the time to take a closer look at my card. When you leave a comment, you absolutely make my day!!!
Please be careful and stay safe during these very unusual and very challenging circumstances.

Lovely embossing too! Hope you can get back to making more cards - it is one way I have been able to deal with this pandemic stuff better! Hugz
