Look who's turning 60 --- my husband is! It's so hard to believe. I met him when he was 23 years old. Time flies when you're having fun. By the way, he doesn't look a day over 45.
For weeks I've been planning a design for his card. To my delight, along came along this week's sketch challenge. I love this sketch. I did put my own spin on it though by changing the orientation. Hope that's okay!
I used a paper pack called "Dino Friends. I'm sure it was meant for a little boy. I just really like it. I think it works for a 60 year old guy.
The sentiment was made by "foiling." This was my first time using that technique. I used a home laminating machine to do it. I wasn't sure it would work, but it did. It might be a little hard to see the gold foiling in the photo.
Hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by.

Never easy to do a male birthday card in my opinion. You've aced it here though. Love the colours, the flash of foil, and the way you've presented the '60' on top of the cake. Great card!
