 | | It felt so good to create a new Christmas card design today, since I am very far behind. This was not even on my radar before today, but yesterday's CAS challenge and today's color challenge came together rather unexpectedly.
The colors are a cool palette; perfect for winter cards but also peaceful (in my mind.) So this sentiment popped in my head. For the earth, I used this world map embossing folder. I have another 11 of these in progress; should be done before I go to bed tonight!
Now, how does this tie into the CAS challenge, What's on TV? During these months of the pandemic, my husband and I have been watching older TV series on Amazon Prime. We started watching "The Amazing Race" from season 1, and have finished 20 (?) seasons. I love watching the locations the contestants visit! Also, more recently, we started watching "Alias," which I had only watched sporadically when it originally aired. We barely made it through season 1, and now have 2 episodes of season 2 done. It's spies/espionage/national security but way over the top! I may call it quits after tonight. (Though I feel really bad for Will, and am curious about what happens to him.) Anyway, the spies travel all around the globe, so this world map works for that too! LOL And frankly, Peace on Earth is something I wish those double agents could truly accomplish.
