I painted a circle for the snowman's head, painted the eyes, nose, smile, and cheeks. The background was then painted and I made falling snow by thumping my white paint off a toothbrush. Added sentiment and finished.
Hope you will play along this week.

Your snowman head has a modern look...ala Picasso with a frontal view and a profile(carrot nose) all in one. Really an adorable and charming Christmas card, Brenda.

Thanks for the great tutorial and the extra push to actually paint a snowman this week. Though as I look at yours, I realize I didn't get my eyes and nose near high enough in my semicircle for this fun uplifted look. Pretty winter sky.

I KNOW how you love snowmen! This one is the very best of your vast collection, because it was tended by your artful brush and paints. LOVE him and that whimsy bg.
