So, I always do little gift card holders for work for Thanksgiving and Christmas turkey gift cards to a local one stop shopping type store. ( college kids can use it for gas money to go home and eat their mama's turkey, older people can get what they want ) ( we used to receive very large turkeys for both those holidays and one year we received one that we had to keep the lid off the roaster and we barely had clearance with foil with the bird on a rack in the roaster because it, nearly did not fit in our tiny oven in our first house.... so, they get gift cards and I knew I needed these and they took me forever to finish. ( they still need maybe some tissue paper and name tags / and or envelopes) but, I have been on a tear to actually USE some of these tools I have been collecting so, instead of finding a tutorial, I grabbed a pad of paper that came to me as a birthday gift and just started chopping. ( it took me a while to realize that you needed two of each cut to make the sacks) my brain does not build things this way so, it took longer than I thought it would. at any rate I decided I should shoot them so I could clear them off the table and think about something else. Thanks for this challenge Lisa, & tfl.

I applaud your energy in making these lovely little bags and your generosity in the gifting! I love the open leaf die cuts with the plaids behind them!

Stacy,
First I loved reading the story of how these cute little bags came to be! Second, they are so lovely and third, wow! The die cut is amazing and you are too for making these for your friends and coworkers!

What a fun memory of the turkey almost not fitting in your oven. I love the papers you used for these gift card bags. These will surely be a nice little gift. Thank you so much for playing along.
