This is my card for Holly's Falliday challenge. The first photo in her challenge reminded me of the Joseph's Coat technique which is what I used on the background panel. This is also my card for the Alphabet Challenge, this week's theme is fantasy for the letter F. The fairy image was gifted to me and perfect for this card.
I did my Joseph's Coat background using various snowflake stamps from the Sparkle & Shine stamp set. I cut that panel down (there is a small strip of it on the inside) and matted it with Rich Razzleberry.
I die cut the focal image and softly sponged with both Sweet Sugarplum and Granny Apple Green. I matted that with a white scalloped oval that I sponged with Sweet Sugarplum. To tone down the white card base, I stenciled using Gina K's Festive stencil and Sweet Sugarplum.
I heat embossed the sentiment and assembled the card, popping up the focal image.
Thanks for the challenges, and thanks for looking!

Wonderful Joseph's Coat panel...fabulous with your black silhouetted fairy and green sponged grass...they are so perfect together, making such a striking card that caught my eye in your gallery immediately!
