For the Inspiration Challenge, we're headed to Cute Tape. They have lots of cute washi tapes, & I chose THIS for my inspiration. The grid pattern reminded me of the stamp I used for the background so I built my card around it.
The large bg image was put into my Misti & inked first w/ a combination of the lt blue & lt teal inks. Then I wiped that ink off, & dabbed white pigment on in spots & stamped again. It was coated w/ a clear, sparkly powder & heat embossed. For the greeting circle, I stamped it w/ a dk blue pigment ink & the circle frame around it, I used a teal pigment ink. Both were heat embossed w/ the same powder. For the line of trees, after die cutting, I took the white ink & smooshed it over the trees & heat embossed. I die cut a bunch of the stitched hills & the colored up gnomes then put it all together.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & links: The Write Stuff
