I die cut several of the solid butterflies from watercolor paper. I also die cut a "Lace" butterfly that corresponded with one of the solid ones, as well as its body, from light blue & navy cardstocks. I glued the solid butterflies to a piece of watercolor paper, and die cut it with an oval die. That was probably the hardest part of the whole project, since it was rather thick.
I blended the Oxide ink colors onto my oval, and then spattered it with the blue & white Pearl Colors. I dried that with my heat tool.
I stamped the greeting onto a panel of mint cardstock, and glued my oval in place. Finally, I glued the "Lace" butterfly over its corresponding solid butterfly, letting it hang off the edge of the oval. I added the glue under just the middle of the butterfly, so its wings could lift up a little, then glued on the body. Finally, I added my card front to a white card base.
