i used a tutorial by Heather Holbrook for this design. she used 3 colours and i used 2. i wish i had her watercolor markers though - they seemed to work amazing. i used tombow and for some reason i just cannot get them to blend for me on paper. i ended (as per usual) scribbling them on a palate and then using a wet brush to paint them in. i don't have the dies yet for this set so i fussy cut the waves and mermaid tails. everything was inked with distress inks and the waves were sprayed with some distress ink. the sun was sponged in, masked and then the clouds sponged on. the sun template and cloud templates are home made. i added a sentiment using my stamping platform and then some embellishments. tfl

This is truly magical! You were able to achieve beautiful blending! I love the layering on this which shows so much dimension. I am a cloud lover so this really makes me happy!

Oh, this is a beauty. I love the coloring with the water and Tombows. Your fussy cutting is just perfect. Great sky, too. Seeing this card makes me long for summer...my favorite season.
