The background is something I made a few weeks ago using Matte Black Yupo and Distress Oxide Spray Inks along with a Dylusions white spray ink. I spooned out drops of the colors (rather than spraying) onto my craft mat and then pressed the black Yupo onto the mat. Then I lifted the Yupo off the mat looked at the coverage and pressed any blank areas onto the colors - one area at a time, until I liked how it looked.
I cut the Yupo panel in two - each piece 2 1/2" x 7" so I could make two cards. I cut the Yupo panel at angles then adhered it to a black card panel 2 1/2" x 7". I cut a white card base 8 1/4" x 7" folding it in half to make an 8 1/4" x 3 1/2" card.
I die cut the SNOW out of patterned paper and out of a piece of black fun foam and adhered them together to give the word some depth.
Congratulations Jane! Enjoy your week in the FS gallery!

Wow, Julia! That bg is extraordinary! A very nice case of Jane. I admired many of her work as well. I’ve scrolled up three times now...at first, I just knew it was DP. Thanks for revealing your method.

Wow! Love the design of your card from Jane's card. Your sky is awesome and I like the sentiment from the patterned paper...shows up in a fantastic way.

Julia, I have never played with Yupo but I sure do love the beautiful pattern you created with it and the distress oxide. This is so creative and I love the Dashing Through the Snow sentiment.
