This is for my daughter's bday. She has been enjoying doing some sewing and is spending more time at it due to covid and being stuck in the US. The tag and strip of spools are cut from dp. The pattern layer is a page from a used book that she got for me in China. (Ephemera from the other side of the globe is just extra fun, esp. with those interesting characters. Plus it's sweet she was thinking of me!) I stamped the dots over top to add a bit more color.
The spool was water colored with distress inks and then fussy cut, including that stinking tiny needle, and then wrapped with floss before attaching to the same image stamped on the circle.
