I used my gel plate to create a bg using complimentary colors of orange and blue (my blue looks green in this, it's a turquoise blue) . I added die cut masks and put those down before I pulled my print. I then doodled around the edge and the outlines of the mushrooms. The snarky saying is from Tim Holtz. This is part of a set of some smaller simple note cards.

Oh, what a great sentiment! My husband's days off rotate and change every month. I NEVER know what day it is. I did think it was Friday on Tuesday this week! Ha! I once again, love the black and white images with your colorful background. Beautiful card!

Love this Polly. That BG is gorgeous and such a fun sentiment. I know a few people who can't keep up with the days right now. TFS Happy day

Oh goodness, I can certainly identify with that sentiment. Work is settling into a bit more of a routine now but there are times it feels as if it should be Friday and it's not. Your little toadstools are sweet.

Great snark....Made me laugh out loud. Love the bright background with your black and white images. Thank goodness I'm retired -- it doesn't matter what day it is. Fun and funny card.
