My thoughts are on the beauty of fall now so my card reflects that and subtly suggesting that perhaps the changes brought this year might also teach us to enjoy a slower pace, how to be happy and satisfied with less than we are used to having. Also to cherish our time with loved ones more and if fortunate enough to have more free time to use it in sending love and encouragement to others. And to even process a d accept loss and how dear life is. I started my embossed leaf bg and wanted butterflies to but they are larvae this time of year hence the catapiller.. But it has EYES! TFL

Your card is beautiful, especially that embossed leaf but I'm really touched by your write up. We have had to see things from different perspectives this year and at a slower pace....thanks for sharing your thoughts...

I really enjoyed your write-up. And I agree, if we came out if this experience a little less materialistic it would not be a bad thing. But I have my doubts, alas...I'm glad you went with a caterpillar instead of a butterfly, he's rather cute and looks very cosy tucked under that beautiful autumn leaf.
