This project is for many challenges, including today's F4A (pick a song); today's MM (use a credit card) and the MMJ challenges to use a texture paste and to use a gel plate or other device for printing.
It wasn't hard but it took time to dry and decide what to do with it. The background is the strata paste, textured with an empty toilet paper roll and a plastic fork and then sprayed like crazy. I sprayed it a while ago and don't remember what I used. Moving on, I used a stash gel plate print that was a pick up print for some alcohol inks (you can barely see them) for stamping all the elements and then heat embossing with a variety of powders. I also put some HA sand ep on the bottom right corner because this was for the alphabet challenge for 'beach.' I decided I want an embellishment and used a dangle from an old earring of mine, hanging from some twine. The song lyrics are from a rock opera by The Who called Quadrophenia, song is called Sea and Sand.

Wow, this is fabulous Jean. I love the texture along with the colour palette - it has an organic patina feel to it. Thanks for joining in the challenge. Both of your cards are great.

Nothing goes as planned here either! I love that sentiment, your images and that awesome background, Jean. THIS is really cool. I wish me and the plate got along! Hugz
