This tag is for Nancy's friend Mia who needs cheering up and loves shoes. Who doesn't? I know I do. Just ask my DH...on second count, don't LOL. I have mine stacked in their boxes by flats, summer, heels, winter, boots....let's just say there's a lot.
Onto my tag.....I don't have shoe stamps but I do have legs and shoes and stockings. I also have a bag full of gelli prints made over the past 2 years. I pulled out a few and stamped the images on top. One of the prints was on deli paper so I fussy cut a second layer for that to hold the deli paper firmly.
Fussy cut all legs and spent time twiddling my fingers and moving them all around until I spied my luggage set sitting on top of my set of drawers. It's been there for a few months. I initially tested it out, again on a metallic gelli print I had, and was going to use it on a scrapbook page. It never happened, but today it came in handy.
I stencilled my tag in TH's speckled egg Dox...I wanted a soft look that didn't detract from the shoes. I then spotted my sewing machine threaded with blue thread. I love stitching on my tags and cards. Usually I will stamp some but I was being courageous today and sewed. I'm not a sewer so this is a big deal for me. It may be a little wonky but I love it.
I decided to put the shoe boxes in the centre......or cases, but they are full of shoes and quirky stockings LOL. I decided to also have some legs/shoes holding them up. The B&W legs are also stamped on a B&W print.
Stickers added and I thought I would personalise Mia's shoe boxes/cases.
I also like bling...not too much but definitely a little, so what else but to add liquid pearls, stickles and other dots to give it an oh la la feel.
The back is covered in polka dot paper and will have a greeting on to Mia.
I had such fun creating this.
TFL. Happy day

I knew from a mile away that this was a creation by you for Mia! So fun and she will absolutely love this. She loves quirky stuff and textures and colors. She has a giant collection of eyeshadows she never uses but purchased because they are sooo pretty soooo you know she really loves sparkle and color. Your legs are VERY fun. THIS is VERY fun. Thanks for making it, my friend! Hugz

Of course with funky shoes comes funky stockings. Love all the fun patterns and colors - can't decided if I would opt first for the sheers with the black & red dotted tops or the blue/green /black harlequins with the chunky platforms - lots of fun and lots to look at!

All the details you created in this tag make for a fun and wonderful tag. Adore all the different "legs" and that sentiment is lovely, The stitching is such a wonderful touch -- don't do it myself but I think real stitching looks better than the stamped so bravo to you for making this extra special.

Totally fun. I was sure those must have been Dylusions stamps, I'm guessing probably Diane Reavely. The suitcases were an inspired addition. And wonky stitching is the way to go on cards, IMO. Especially with zigzag.
We had the 19-year old son of friends staying with us for six months (fortunately he went home for lockdown) and I had to do a lot of reorganization last year to make the spare room free for him. Consequently I had a terrible time finding all my summer sandals this Spring!
