Jeanne's other challenge today is to paint branches on our cards. I chose acrylic paint instead of watercolor. I just used black acrylic paint to paint my branches and then white to paint snow on the branches and snow falling. Also, this is my card for the Christmas CraZy swap for July/August. Tammy was my partner and she sent me this fun truck and gifts. She also sent me some fabulous DP (This one I used for the sky here) and some fun embellishments. I feel bad that I only used one piece of the DP and no embellishments on this card. I'll have to make another card with the rest of Tammy's fun kit. I like the angle of this truck. I decided to draw in a light gray road for it and added a frame that it is driving out from. Popped up just the front of the truck on foam squares.

This is very effective ..... love how you have the gift-filled truck popped up in front and driving through the frame! Your hand painted trees look great all covered with snow. Terrific Christmas card!

The black branches with snow are fantastic. I was actually thinking that acrylic would be much better in terms of being able to add texture. Having the pickup drive out of the frame adds great movement and perspective.
