Another Wednesday, another watercolor adventure. I'm pretty happy with my leaves. I've come to terms with the fact that I am no limedoodle. She is amazing. I stamped three Hero Arts leaves in Antique Linen and used my Spectrum Aqua markers to watercolor them. After I finished watercoloring, I stamped over the leaves in Tea Dye to get the detail back in. The background wash is done by mixing all the colors together, then I splattered that mixture all over. I also splattered Perfect Pearls water and gold Wink of Stella. I thought it would be a perfect Thanksgiving background, so I inked up my brand new Kraftin' Kimmie pilgrims. I bought these with my store credit from their Instagram hop. They have the sweetest new Holy Family stamps that I also purchased.

Hello neighbor and fellow watercolor apprentice. Pretty blend of reds yellow and brown on those leaves and overstamping definitely enhanced the detail. Love your cute little pilgrims.

An adorable Thanksgiving card, Jen. Great job with the leafy bg. Your work with the markers is beautiful...I myself have never had luck with them. The two Pilgrim figures are beautifully done as well.

Great idea to stamp over those leaves again to get the veins. Your watercoloring looks great and the little pilgrims are adorable. Don't tempt me with the Holy Family stamps. I took a peek and they are adorable.

Your leaves are amazing...great idea to restamp after painting for the details. Sweet pilgrims. I like the mixture of mediums you used, and they all work together. Happy you joined the challenge this week, and gave us this fantastic card.
