I thought about closely casing it because I love her background and the lovely colors, but knew it wouldn't work out for me. I needed a Sympathy card as one my Mother's closest friends passed this last week and my new Cosmos paper was calling to me. So it all worked out.
I bought this old leaf set at a thrift store or garage sale and never really liked how it stamped. Today I like it! Love when that happens.
Lots of sponging on this and I heated up some Frantage to add more interest since my paper did all the work.
Congrats Deb, and I hope you enjoy seeing how you inspire others. I needed the inspiration this weekend. Your cards are lovely and you are super sweet.

Fabulous card, great dp, and the leaves look fabulous. One day we don't like something and give it another try much later and find out we do. I love that.

Oh goodness this is beautiful...amazing how you used the dp and stamp set . It looks like it was made to be together. Love the balance of the colors. Sorry you had to make this card. Hugs
Nancy, this is a stunning sympathy card. There are so many wonderful details and colors. I love the lumpy gold embossing on the paper and leaves. I had to go and search out what Frantage is as I have never heard of it. I assume that is how you accomplished the gold texture. I never thought I would be saying WOW about a sympathy card but WOW! WOW! WOW! This is gorgeous.
