Congratulations to Jacqueline, this week's featured stamper. I loved this: MMTPT568 Sunrise, Sunset...Sunflowers by jacqueline at Splitcoaststampers
and tried various things before this CAS design was the result. I got this sunflower set at a garage sale and it had not seen ink till now. Stamped the first two images in the set with dandelion, then the 3rd in mango, and finally pumpkin spice. I did make a mask to do the 2nd flower, but still had white showing, so I used a copic marker to fill it in and thankfully I think it looks okay. Used a hole punch to make two notches for my twine. Used a glue dot to adhere the knot "bow".
Changes were different sunflower stamp, and white panel instead of kraft.
Jacqueline your gallery is very inspiring with lots that I saw to case. I hope you have a fun week as featured stamper!
(After I posted this, I did use my copic Y35 to fill in a bit more of the splotchy looking areas.)

This card is really gorgeous with those fun sunny flowers! Masking is different every single time and thank God we have markers, colored pencil, water colors, etc. to help us with our so-called mistakes (no one will ever know and your secret is safe with me too). These gorgeous flowers are lovely and the wonderful coloring of your card and twine are sure to lift someone's spirits. What a great CASE this is too. ~Karen.

Shirl, this is such a bright and happy card and just shouts "sunshine"! Love your beautiful blossoms, wonderful sentiment and your sparkly twine treatment! Your color combo of blue and brown truly compliment your sunflowers.

Shirl - what a great find at a garage sale!!! I am definitely going to go this weekend if the hurricane is not impacting us. Love the happy sentiment and that great twine choice. Happy, fun, cheerful, and fabulous case. Hugz

Thanks so much Shirl...I'm glad you found a few things in my gallery that inspired you. And, I'm happy that you finally had a reason to ink up that stamp...I know how that is; I have plenty of stamps waiting to be inked.
