I made this card for Jacqueline to honor her great gallery and all the support she has given to me. I have not looked at the scs in ages, and here Jacqueline is being honored today.
To be honest, I started this sunflower and leaves 3 weeks ago with colored pencil, but didn't like it. I saw this card by Jacqueline and knew what to do then: MMTPT568 Sunrise, Sunset...Sunflowers by jacqueline at Splitcoaststampers. I needed to mask more flowers (thank God for the MISTI tool and my husband who cut out the masks for me), but was not up to more sunflowers so I did smaller flowers instead. Getting up at 4 am helps.
I am really proud of this card because it is the first one I have made since before July 20th.
Enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight Jacqueline - you deserve it!! ~ Karen.

How beautiful, Karen! And how fabulous to see you back!! I know you've had a tough road to go & we're all praying for you. Your sunflower & little pink flowers are so pretty & I love the narrow green frame.

Beautiful card and I like that you used the pink flowers instead of more sunflowers. Gives it more interest. And, as said above, kudos to dh for cutting the masks. Wonderful CAS card made even more so by that a beautiful sentiment. Welcome back!
