Sometimes I just like to pull out a gel print and see what I can do with it. I know I did this recently but for the life of me, cannot remember what is on it. There is some metallic shine, no clue. I used a leaf stencil on it. Then I added a couple of other geometric small stencils from Heidi Swapp with the Distress inks to get more of the Halloween colors. What color ISN'T Halloween these days? Black and orange was it in my day. Then to get more sparkle and shine, I did some foiling with my glue stick, holographic foil and bone folder. I love to foil this way, very quick, random, who knows where it will land.
I don't have a lot of fallish sentiments, this is my go to clear stamp set, no idea who made it any longer. I was looking at it as I was drinking my coffee, took a sip to find something largish in my mouth, one of the stamps had fallen in. I was afraid it was a spider or something truly icky. For a long time, I no longer liked October near as much, as it was my wedding anniversary month. Now I'm good with it and it's my son's and daughter in law's wedding anniversary tomorrow. 'I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.' ~Anne of Green Gables.

Love your copper embossed sentiment, and your Anne of Green Gables quote in the description!

Ah, I wondered how you got that metallic sparkle. I see the holographic effect, now that you mention it. I really like the geometric triangles over the totally abstract print.

I'd say you captured the fickleness of October well, bfnm! Though I argue with DH every year how non fickle OUR Octobers truly are. I like how the main panel still holds the hope of Spring greens and the vertical elements remind me of G Klimt. And a quote I haven't heard (or have, big grin!) Uber cool.
